Um, I think I’m ready to get out now! **In my Katy Perry voice** (UPDATED)

Well, well, it seems as though the world’s favorite “PK (Preacher’s Kid) Gone Bad” has tasted the forbidden fruits and had an allergic reaction! I’m sure the prayers of her parents, their church, and anyone else who cared about the girl’s salvation and life didn’t hurt much.

Judging from her newest single, and pretty much every single that has come from her upcoming album, (still untitled), it seems as though Katy has made all the money she needs, seen all of the dark corners of fame, and wants to go back to her Christian roots. Can I get an ‘Amen’? Check out all of the symbols during her 2012 Billboard Music Awards performance, and PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO ALL OF THE WORDS in the song. Very VERY powerful!

UPDATED!!!!

Check out all of the Alice In Wonderland symbolisms in the actual video for Wide Awake. I’m sort of torn with it as it seems as though Katy is trying to escape the maze of the entertainment biz with her ‘innocence’ guiding the way, but at the same time she seems to be accepting her current MK programming to ‘finish the show’. Can’t wait until Vigilant Citizen tackles this one!!!

But, hey, THAT’S MY OPINION!!!

Can I get a Double Burger with Cheese?!

It’s no secret every since Lupe Fiasco came out with Kick Push, he was not afraid to be himself or speak what’s on his mind. This is something his record label has never been happy with. So, what does one of the last remaining true Conscious rappers do? Creates a mixtape speaking his mind regarding anything and everything he feels wrong with the world and the music industry. His latest venture, Friend of the People, is by far his realest work yet! For anyone struggling to understand what we the ‘AWAKE’ are talking about, this is a MUST HAVE cd!!!!

One of the songs that stands out the most to me is ‘Double Burger w/Cheese’. Anyone who is familial with urban movies might recognize the phrase from a pivotal scene from Menace II Society, a movie about a young street hustler who attempts to escape the rigors and temptations of the ghetto in a quest for a better life. Unfortunately, most of the movie is filled with extreme violence as it depicts inner city live.

Anyway, in this song, Lupe effortlessly weaves a lyrical montage of scenes from several of the most predominant Urban Movies, which are all filled with gangs, violence, degrading of women, drugs, and pretty much anything negative that could happen to a person who grew up in the hood. From Menace II Society to Boyz In Da Hood to Dead Presidents to Colors, and plenty more. These movies have been watched by an entire generation so many times  we have become callus to everything in them. It’s become normal to watch black young men killing  each other in real life because we were raised watching them do in on tv. Check out the video.

It’s really sad how we have allowed ourselves to be programmed into becoming everything these movies were suppose to be preaching against. SMH

But, hey, THAT’S MY OPINION!

Lady Gaga Marries the Darkness

Looks like she’s at it again. Gaga has just released a new video for her song Marry The Night. She says the song is about her love for the city of New York, however, knowing what controls her, it’s easier to tell she’s speaking about her love of Satan. The video itself is suppose to be ‘an artistic’ rendition of her struggle and transformation before stardom. Gaga  explains at the beginning she hasn’t lied about her life leading up to her break thru album, she merely told us her version of what happened.

Before I get into how get into how much symbolism is in this mini movie, (the video is nearly 14 minutes long), I’ll let you see it all for yourself first.

Wow! The first 4 minutes say so much about Gaga’s twisted world. She speaks of trauma being the ultimate killer, after explaining she doesn’t like to see her past as it was. Then she goes on to state she’s basically disassociated her memories and refilled her mind with another reality.  Did you notice all of the other patients’ heads are wrapped up as if they have had lobotomies? Also, during the last shot of the ‘dance school’ scene, did you notice the words “The Cross Is My Anchor” on the wall behind the dancers is mirrored? The entire hall she’s in is riddled with Masonic symbols.

I don’t know, maybe I’m reading in to it too much.

But, hey, THAT’S MY OPINION.

What’s Happening to Common Sense?

I have always been a super huge fan of rapper Common Sense since his very first album, Can I Borrow a Dollar?, but things I have been noticing about him lately are starting to raise some concern.

First, on November 13, 2011, Common posted the following message on his Twitter page:

Really, Common? 6-6-6?!?!

For those of you who don’t know, Hell On Wheels is a new television series which airs on the AMC channel. The show tells the story of post-Civil War America, focusing on a Confederate soldier who sets out to get revenge on the Union soldiers who killed his wife. Common plays the role of Elam Ferguson, a newly emancipated half Black and half White slave.

Now, one thing that peaked my interest was the choice of name for Common’s character. Right off top, I recalled reading it in the Bible, but still wanted to dig a little deeper. When searching for ‘Elam’ as a regular word and not a name, I found the following definition:

Elam was an ancient civilization in what is now southwest Iran.

And when searching for ‘Elam’ as a name, I found this meaning:

The verb lm (‘alam), meaning to be hidden or concealed. This root comes with the derivation taalumma (‘taalumma), meaning hidden thing.

Very interesting, wouldn’t you say? But wait! There’s more!!!

The latest thing to trigger intrigue is the cover artwork for Common’s next album set to drop December 2011, The Dreamer/The Believer:

Why would he hold out this long to sell out now? Or was he already showing his allegiance with Universal Mind Control???

But, hey, THAT’S MY OPINION.

Negativity Covers Michael Jackson

Chris Brown's photo: MJ authentic.. I just got this as a present!
On November 1, 2011 (11-1-11), Chris Brown sent out the following tweet which contained the above picture:
Seeing that Breezy is such a HUGE fan of MJ, I could totally understand the point of the gift, but what caught more of my attention were the topics discussed in this issue of Rolling Stone. Let’s break it down.
First, we have the title of the cover story, ‘Why does this eleven year old stay up past hid bedtime?’ Interesting, since the very thing that killed the King of Pop was an aid to help him sleep. Seems to me like the man NEVER got any sleep! Not even in his childhood. SMH.
Next, we have the sub-topic of the cover story, ‘Michael Jackson and his 6 gold records’. I’m sorry, but wasn’t he still with his brothers, the REST of the Jackson 5, at the time? So, why say ‘his six gold records’? Guess they already knew without him, the rest of the group was nothing.
Lastly, I wanted to look at the other hot topic of this issue. ‘The Murder of Ruben Salazar’. I’m sure most people would have disregarded this headline, but the Google in me wouldn’t let it go until I knew who this person was. According to Wikipedia, Ruben Salazar was a Mexican American journalist killed by a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy during the National Chicano Moratorium March against the Vietnam War on August 29, 1970 in East Los Angeles, Ca. During the 1970s, his killing was often cited as a symbol of unjust treatment of Chicanos by law enforcement. He was also the first Mexican-American journalist to cover the Chicano community from the mainstream media.
Notice anything? Ruben Salazar’s death day is August 29th, the same day as Michael’s birthday. Pretty creepy, huh? Why would Rolling Stone discuss the one year death anniversary for someone who was killed on the birthday of the cover story artist in an issue 4 months before the actual anniversary date? That’s right, folks, this isn’t the August 29th issue, it’s the April 29th issue. Wonder what the connection is?
Seeing this got me thinking, what other random negative/deadly clues have been thrown into MJ’s other RS covers? So I decided to look them all up, and share my findings with you. Check them out!!
Ok, this one is talking about handgun votes, and the tragic, yet, accidental death of boxer Duk Koo Kim at the hands of Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini, which would forever change the world of professional boxing, and drive Kim’s mother and the ref of the fight to suicide. And, I also thought it was funny how this is his ‘life as a man’, and this is almost as much facial hair we EVER saw on the man! 😉
I don’t think I need to say much about this one. I mean, they have him in ‘gray’ face, and the main sub-topic is how MTV was used to ‘sell out’ rock & roll.
Looks like a bamphomet hovering over his heart if you ask me.
Hmmm…I think I’ll just sit back and let you guys figure this one out.
The title of the cover story for this issue is ‘The Making of the King of Pop’. It’s interesting because looking at him here and back through the previous covers, we can totally see how he was being ‘made’ into whatever they wanted him to be. Not to mention they are bringing up the death of Freddie Mercury, the lead singer for Queen, who died November 24th, 1991, yet this issue is dated January 9th, 1992. Guess with all of the hustle and bustle of the holidays, they didn’t have time to get to it until then. **shrugs**
Guess they didn’t have to mention anyone else’s death on this issue, since it was HIS commemorative issue.
But, hey, THAT’S MY OPINION.

Burn, Willow, burn!!!!

Unfortunately, the young Willow Smith has come out with another song to defile our ears. This one is called Fireball, and basically glorifies the party life. Hmmm…what would or should this kid even know about being the life of a party???? Is this party located at Skate Land? Anyway, she performed this stupid song during this evening’s episode of The X Factor. I don’t watch the show, (it’s just America’s Got Talent, The Voice, and American Idol rolled into one), but some of my faithfuls (Shout out to Christian Boo!!!) gave me the heads up. Check it out.

So, can anyone tell me why this kid is sporting a lizard suit? & notice how the ‘W’ in the ring of fire, (which is basically just an inverted triangle in a circle, which is discussed here for clarification), is positioned just perfectly between her bony legs reminding every pedophile in the audience and watching from home exactly why she’s being paraded in front of them? And, we can’t forget the every so age appropriate ‘booty’ dance Willow attempts to draw even more attention from the crowd. SMH.

But, hey, THAT’S MY OPINION!!!!!
