What’s Happening to Common Sense?

20 Nov

I have always been a super huge fan of rapper Common Sense since his very first album, Can I Borrow a Dollar?, but things I have been noticing about him lately are starting to raise some concern.

First, on November 13, 2011, Common posted the following message on his Twitter page:

Really, Common? 6-6-6?!?!

For those of you who don’t know, Hell On Wheels is a new television series which airs on the AMC channel. The show tells the story of post-Civil War America, focusing on a Confederate soldier who sets out to get revenge on the Union soldiers who killed his wife. Common plays the role of Elam Ferguson, a newly emancipated half Black and half White slave.

Now, one thing that peaked my interest was the choice of name for Common’s character. Right off top, I recalled reading it in the Bible, but still wanted to dig a little deeper. When searching for ‘Elam’ as a regular word and not a name, I found the following definition:

Elam was an ancient civilization in what is now southwest Iran.

And when searching for ‘Elam’ as a name, I found this meaning:

The verb lm (‘alam), meaning to be hidden or concealed. This root comes with the derivation taalumma (‘taalumma), meaning hidden thing.

Very interesting, wouldn’t you say? But wait! There’s more!!!

The latest thing to trigger intrigue is the cover artwork for Common’s next album set to drop December 2011, The Dreamer/The Believer:

Why would he hold out this long to sell out now? Or was he already showing his allegiance with Universal Mind Control???

But, hey, THAT’S MY OPINION.

It is a shame because this guy used to drop some lyrics back in the day. Him and Black Eyed Peas have both gone the way of the darkside. This album cover says it all aswell as the freemasonry symbol he is giving in that picture. I got suspicious when he dropped the “sense” part from his rapping name. Now it is just Common but common what? There is no direct interpretation of his title anymore which leaves room for all sorts of direction. A pyramid spaceship hovering over a city, what do you think we are that stupid Common?

Wouldn’t have thought that Common would sell out. At least I still have Mos Def and Talib Kweli

On that video at 0:14 seconds I’m sure he’s pulling the eye. (Touching the index finger to the thumb)

Sad truth is people, it’s not that he ‘held out’ this long, or that he’s only just beginning to ‘go to the dark side’, he will have been being prepared for years before this, and you can just see more and more of the programming coming out in his recent stuff. Yup “Universal Mind Control” is a *fairly* telling title of where he’s at, but if you understand the bigger picture stuff, you can hear it in “Finding Forever” as well… and even earlier if you know what you’re listeing/looking for.

From the time he started appearing in Hollywood block busters it was inevitable the transition was occurring. I met him in the Jazz Cafe in London bitd – and he was such a fine brotha….but unfortunately the benjy’s rule for some people! smdh

Food for thought: how do you know if a person of african descent is illuminati or is just a kemite (follower of ancient egyptian culture)? there are numerous blacks who follow kemetic traditions and since the two use the same symbols (illuminati bad? and kemites good?) how can anyone know?

Good question. My best answer is how much money does this person make? The only color the Illuminati is interested in is GREEN. Even Oprah is still just a major pawn in their game. And it is true a lot of cults and religions use the same symbols that have different meanings.

No-weh-jose’ and buttafly … the kemetic traditions are probably influenced by these ancient magik practices, this stuff is almost as old as mankind itself…. it *isn’t* about money, even Jessie J will tell you that. It’s about CONTROL, it’s always been about control, of course to have that you need certain wealth, but once the wealth has been gained, and lets face it the music industry is well catered for, there is a more concentrated effort on new recruits. The reason you can find the similarities in cults and religions is man has a limited imagination, and they all stem from the same source – darkness.

Unfortunately I suspect Ericka Badu brought him to the dark side. They were dating and seen around Chicago quite a bit years ago. It’s sad really. Although Chicago is a big city, sometimes the black community can be like a small world. You encounter these people while they’re up and coming and they’re normal. I remember encountering Common, Robert (R.) Kelly and Bernie Mac. Just regular around the way brothers. Everyone had a lot of respect for Common Sense on the local poetry scene and as a rapper. Really rooting for his success. Now he’s under mind control. Believe it or not R. Kelly is actually a prolific gospel song writer so when his first record came out sounding all juvenile and silly, well I just couldn’t believe it. Total sell out. Now that I’ve read about the mind control business it now makes so much sense. Truly sad. What a trap. Same thing with two more local guys, Twista (formerly Tongue Twister) and Lupe Fiasco. Regular around the way dudes and now from looking at their cd covers / videos all I can say is tsk tsk tsk!!!!
